hi there, Oxfam Japan International Volunteer Group has the Monthly Meeting in this friday.
this group has the wonderful opportunity to create social awareness in Japanese Society.
as you know, the Civil Society in Japan is different with other developed countries.
it seems hard to mobilize people for public action.
the education on civil mind as "global citizenship" is needed.

Education Summit in Africa

I got public announcement on Education Summit held in South Africa collaborated with World Cup.

in 2000, world leaders made promise on universal access to primary education.
is there lack of money to do?
no, there is enough money to provide the opportunity of school to all children.
but there were 72 million children out ofschool in 2007. Business as usual would leave 56 million children out of school in 2015.
is the children in developing countries no right to education?
no one decides the birth place and nationality in advance.

hey guy, I would like to share one box picture.
it helps your understandings on Education and Money.

I hope that World Cup creates social awareness on Africa and its Education.
Global Campaign for Education also started to cooperate with FIFA in its 1 Goal Campaign.

you can get the detail of this info in DFID Blog.
