the public view to Zhāng Zǐyí

I had special dinner with Chinese Friends two weeks ago.
fortunately or unfortunately, all chinese guests were women, hahaha.

anyway, we talked about Chinese Culture in that night.
according to their voices, Chinese women don't like Zhāng Zǐyí, although they said Chinese guys like her.

men's preference tends to be difference with women's one.

STAND UP TAKE ACTION

GCAP, Global Call to Action against Poverty, made new video on Stand Up Take Action 2010.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JnIJypPL-Q

2000, world leaders met at Millennium Summit and made promises. Millennium Development Goals was made according to their(not our) promises, and it says to achieve 8 goals by 2015, such as halves the number of people living under 1 dollar per day.
but now, almost goals are not reached.
we need Rescue plan of it!

what I wanna do

I just wanna do something that makes people excited!

again and again, I think the life should find the value.

here we go, let's make it happen!

Oxfam Fun Fun Performance

I found quite interesting performance of Oxfam International.

Credit:Oxfam International

yeah, Wold Leaders declared that we would promote to take action for better world as the common goal in Millennium Summit, 2000.
United Nations created Millennium Development Goals(MDGs) according to Millennium Declaration that adopted by World Leaders in Millennium Summit.
MDGs set several targets such as "Halve, between 1990 and 2015, the proportion of people whose income is less than $1 a day", "Development assistance will have to increase substantially to double aid to Africa by 2010" and so on. and the deadline to all of them is by 2015.
even although some civil society organizations criticized these targets of MDGs were not enough, the progress of MDGs is out of track. so we need to catch up for implementation of MDGs by 2015.

was it overestimate of global capacity?
No!
it is because the lack of political will!

for example, Poor Countries have received just $2 trillion in aid over the 49 years. in the other hand, over 2008, $18 trillion has been found globally to bail out banks and financial institutions.
$2 trillion/49 years vs $18 trillion/ 1 year!
yeah, it is 10 times!

there is not lack of resources or capacities. we just need political will.

Change Maker

today, I went to the seminar. Main speaker was Kumi Naidu.
he is Greenpeace CEO, chair of the Global Call to Action against Poverty and also chair of Global Campaign for Climate Action.

He emphasized the role of Civil Society is so important, in this seminar.
"Civil Society must take the responsibility for global agenda as well as Government."
He explained several challenges we are facing such as Climate Change and Aid-issue and what they demanded.

Kumi introduced Kofi Anan’s organization said 300 thousands died everyday by Climate Change.
Darfur is also related with Climate Change. One cause of them is lack of water caused by Climate Change.
People in North, People who emitted Greenhouse Gas bother South people, people who had largest impact.

Last year, Civil Society mobilized millions people for global agenda, such as STAND UP TAKE ACTION, COP15.
But Government keeps their behavior un-change.

He said all civil challenge are related with Justice. So we need to unite for ONE!
Each action does not make a difference, so we need to unite and make government to find that they will lose next erection.
Kumi saidWe need to promote relationship with Labor Unions or Religious Organizations. Generally, Religious Organization has good structure in society.

Although the activities sending product to people in trouble is good, but we need to lobby and advocacy more and more for change

It is important to have the heart for CHANGE, although the leadership such as King Jr, Gandhi or Mandela, promotes CHANGE.

It is importance to change their behavior.
He show the question about democracy in Japan.

I found he was change maker!

Training Days

I tend to be lazy.
not good.

although I know the importance of BREAK, but I'm always on Lazy Time, not Break.
if I want to have a break, I should do, not pretended.

it is the time to be on Training Days.
there are many things that I must and want to do.

I tend to forget the meaning of value of life.
keep it in mind and just do.

Chinese New Year Party or Valentine

yeah, Valentine and Chinese New Year will come on this weekend!
what do you do?

me?
of course, my heart is on Chinese New Year.
I plan special dinner on this sunday!!
there will be special friends and special dinner!!

actually, this is severe choice.
in Japan, women give chocolate as symbol of love to men.
I know this is Japanese Original Style.
In other countries, Men gives Rose to Women, right?
as well as Christmas, our Chocolate Custom came from Company's Marketing.

some friends of mine, now, are promoting True Love Campaign related with Economic Justice.
as you know, much Chocolate was made under Economic Injustice, such as Child Labors, unfair trade and so on.
this campaign is so simple.
if you want to give the gift to your important person, it should be fair trade product!!
the product made by others tear and blood never makes happy.
I think this concept is all right.
especially, the love is so important emotion of humans.
Valentine is one of largest opportunities to think love.
let's think about others!

but, anyway, I would like to choose Dumpling, hahaha.

Child Labor and other fact

Hi all, I am thinking of the issue of Child Labour from other sight.

In almost Africa Nations, the population betwwen 0 to 14 is arounf 40%(United Nations (2006) Population, Resources, Environment and Development: The 2005 Revision).
How do you think of this fact.

I would like to show other case as refferance.
in OECD Countries, the population btween 0-14 is around 20%.
yeah it is double score!

generally, the population between 15 to 64 in African Nations is lower than that of OECD`s.
OECD is around 68%, Africa is around 55%.

I think if all children who now work stop to do, the economy of African Nations will fall!?
of course, I never support Worst Forms of Child Labour.
we must stop and eliminate such injustice as soon as possible.

so what is my plan??

1. stop of Worst Forms of Child Labour.
2. it is hard to end all form of child labour.
3. but all children have the universal right to education.
4. we need to establish the opportunity of education universally.
5. in sametime, we need to promote Health for all.
6. it promotes increasing life expectance and prevention of HIV/AIDS and other decease.(it promotes more labor popukation, not children.)

although there is no details, but we need the balance between vision and practical plan.

The Man from Japan

friend of mine will go to Indonesia.

Summer Plan

as I posted before, I will go to Malaysia coming summer.
now I am thinking of the details.

in my travel policy, I am no interested in sightseeing.
my interest is about people.
I really like human beings.
so I would like to see more human culture in Malaysia.

and if I have a time, I also want to go to Jakarta and Singapore!
but it depends on flight!

Chinese New Year Party

hi guys, I will have Chinese New Year Party on 13th night!
if you want to join it, please let me know!!

I will have dinner with several Chinese friends.

Guantanamo

today, I found one news letter in my post.
this is news letter from Amnesty International Japan.
*I'm monthly supporter of Amnesty International Japan.

in this news letter, Huge Violation of human rights in Guantanamo are introduced.
I think United States is one of democratic countries.
but sometime they did such a fool thing.
I am really concerned for it.

we need to make just world without poverty.
for it, we need to pay attention for the world.
